BAPE releases the third and final installment of its FW25 Performance All Weather collection, closing the PAW series under the creative direction of Kazuki Kuraishi. This final drop centers on snowboarding equipment designed for demanding alpine conditions while staying aligned with BAPE’s established streetwear language.
Kuraishi approaches the project through his long-standing connection to mountain sports and graphic design. His direction focuses on technical materials and pattern development, allowing visual identity and performance requirements to operate together without distraction. The collection introduces two camouflage systems developed specifically for this release. DIGITAL ABC CAMO updates BAPE’s familiar motif through a pixel-based treatment, shifting its visual rhythm while keeping it immediately recognizable. UAP CAMO, or Universal Ape Pattern, takes a more concealed approach, embedding BAPE elements within a dense graphic structure that reveals itself gradually.
The core of the lineup centers on outerwear built to withstand severe weather. The UAP CAMO snowboard 3-layer jacket anchors the offering, designed to provide waterproof protection while allowing freedom of movement on the slopes. Coordinating 3-layer overalls extend this approach, creating a full system intended to function as a unified set.
A reversible down jacket offers adaptability across changing conditions, allowing wearers to adjust insulation needs without switching garments. Polar fleece detachable pants introduce a modular approach to layering, supporting temperature regulation and movement depending on environment and activity. Snow clogs, gloves, and a BAPE SIMS snowboard complete the lineup, positioning the release as a full snowboarding system rather than a limited apparel drop.
BAPE presents the final PAW installment through a lookbook shot in Hokkaido, Japan, using professional snowboarders to demonstrate the gear in real conditions. The setting and casting serve a practical role, placing the garments in the environment they are designed for rather than relying on studio presentation.
The Fall Winter 2025 PAW collection is now available online. With this release, BAPE completes a three-part series that places technical performance at the center, delivering snowboarding equipment built for alpine environments while maintaining a streetwear identity.
