The Spring Summer 2026 collection continues the Carhartt WIP focus on fabric, form, and durability, refining established Dearborn Canvas and denim styles through a seasonal lens. The collection draws from outdoor utility and mid-century references, introducing updated interpretations of prep and uniform-driven silhouettes while staying anchored in the brand’s core design language.

The OG Double Knee Pant, OG Active Jacket, and Detroit Jacket return in a restrained palette led by Hamilton Brown and black, supported by green, blue, and teal tones. Subtly worn-in stone canvas finishes give these garments a lived-in character without relying on overt surface effects. These core styles appear alongside oversized lumberjack checks and hunting-inspired outerwear, including the Prescott Coat. Designed with a contemporary car coat shape, the Prescott introduces large hunting pockets that emphasize utility while maintaining a clean outline.

Inspired by the natural wear found on archival garments, Carhartt WIP applies faded treatments and distinctive washes across colored denim, twill, ripstop, and cotton waffle fabrics. These processes affect both tone and texture, giving each garment visual depth tied directly to its construction. A new bleached hickory stripe fabric adds another layer to this approach, appearing on pieces such as the Mercer Single Knee Pant and the Women’s Mercer Chore Coat.

Mid-century references surface through updated interpretations of 1950s mod archetypes. Boxy collared shirts and cinch-back work pants appear in steely blues and greys, introducing sharper structure into the collection. The Belmar Jacket expands this direction by retaining classic Type 2 denim jacket elements, including stitched pleats, donut shank buttons, and a back cinch adjuster. Carhartt WIP updates the design with signature chore pockets placed on the chest, linking archival detail with the brand’s established workwear codes.

Nature-inspired graphics introduce pattern into the range through a laser-printed camo snake motif. This print appears across jackets, pants, short-sleeve shirts, and accessories, offering a controlled graphic element that complements the collection’s material focus. The pattern integrates into the overall lineup without disrupting its functional tone.

As the season progresses into summer, the collection shifts toward lighter construction and relaxed proportions. Loose-fitting short-sleeve shirts and shorts appear in a neutral palette of khaki and beige. The Postal Jacket and Postal Double Knee Short illustrate this approach, pairing utilitarian structure with breathable materials suited for warmer conditions.

Color and texture continue to shape the summer offering through allover print poplin shirts, lightweight space-dye knits, and piqué fabrics. These materials introduce variation while remaining aligned with the collection’s functional sensibility.

The Spring Summer 2026 collection presents a cohesive wardrobe shaped by workwear foundations, mid-century influence, and material-driven design. Available through select global retailers, Carhartt WIP stores, brand’s website, and the Carhartt WIP App, the collection reinforces the brand’s ongoing focus on structure, utility, and seasonal relevance.
