DSCENE Magazine brings a closer look at A$AP Rocky x PUMA latest collaboration, first presented during the AWGE runway show at New York Fashion Week in February. The lineup introduces experimental silhouettes like the Mostro 3.D Mule and the Straycat, alongside technical lifestyle pieces that carry the same visual direction.

The collection is led by the Mostro 3.D Mule, a limited-edition model produced in only a few hundred pairs, a laceless evolution of the 3.D model. By shifting to a slip-on format, the shoe highlights its sculpted, perforated upper and aggressive spiked outsole. A black-to-deep-blue gradient finish emphasizes the raised nodes of the dense rubber sole, giving the limited silhouette a more fluid, organic form.
Joining the Mule is the Straycat, a brand-new silhouette featuring a heavy, grounded profile. Its upper is built with reinforced, layered panels, while rope-lacing system across the forefoot adds structural tension above a segmented sole. For a more classic reference, the PUMA Suede returns in black and navy variations, updated with oversized laces and gold hardware.
The collaboration’s automotive theme is most evident in the Oil Can bags, which translate motor oil packaging into product form. These designs utilize high-gloss surfaces and bold, color-coded labeling. Available in black-and-red and metallic silver-and-blue, the bags mirror the graphic treatments and structured panels found on industrial containers.
The apparel follows suit with a racing hoodie defined by a dense arrangement of sponsor-style patches and AWGE x PUMA branding. Gradient color appears on the hood and front pockets, shifting between purple, pink, and orange, reinforcing the motorsport aesthetic present throughout the footwear and accessories. The collaboration also features a padded balaclava, a helmet-inspired piece with a removable iridescent visor and motorsport graphics.
While some pieces from the A$AP Rocky x PUMA collection, such as the Mostro Lenticular, remain show exclusives, the rest is expected to release later this year.
