Erin Magee has joined SKIMS as its first chief design officer, moving to the company after ending a 22-year tenure at Supreme. The appointment places Magee in charge of design and creative product direction as SKIMS continues to expand across categories and international markets.

The move follows Magee’s departure from Supreme, which she announced days earlier after spending more than two decades with the New York streetwear label. She joined Supreme in 2004 and most recently served as chief creative officer, overseeing creative vision, design, product development and product strategy across apparel, accessories, collaborations and special projects.
Magee marked the end of her time at Supreme with an Instagram post featuring photographs from her years at the company. She described her 22 years with the team as an honor, closing one of the longest creative tenures within the brand.

Her next role gives her responsibility for product across SKIMS, the intimate apparel company founded by Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede. As chief design officer, Magee will guide design and creative product direction while the company develops its presence across existing and new categories.
Grede described Magee’s understanding of product and ability to identify what connects with an audience as central reasons for the appointment. Kardashian also pointed to Magee’s distinct design perspective and her close connection with consumers, qualities she sees as important to the company’s next stage.
Magee’s career at Supreme developed alongside one of the most significant periods in the company’s history. After joining in 2004, she held several roles before becoming its chief creative officer. Her responsibilities eventually covered the wider creative operation, spanning apparel and accessories as well as collaborations and special projects.
Outside Supreme, Magee founded the women’s label MadeMe in 2007, maintaining the independent project alongside her work at the streetwear company. Her experience across both operations now feeds into a role centered on product at SKIMS.
For Magee, the appointment establishes an immediate next step following her Supreme exit. After 22 years shaping product and creative direction within one of streetwear’s best-known companies, she now takes that experience into SKIMS with responsibility for the future direction of its expanding product portfolio.
