New Balance heads into the US Open 2026 with a full tennis collection designed for the hardcourt season, bringing together performance apparel, footwear and a custom tournament look for Coco Gauff. The opening days of the 2026 US Open have already brought an unexpected turn, with Novak Djokovic exiting in the first round as the tournament’s biggest names begin their campaigns in New York. Defending champions Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka start their title defenses, while Coco Gauff arrives as one of the leading American contenders after strong runs in Toronto and Cincinnati. Her first match is still ahead, and New Balance will reveal her custom tournament kit when she takes the court.

SNEAKERS

For the tournament, New Balance has released a head-to-toe tennis collection created for its professional athletes and consumers. Gauff joins Tommy Paul, Jordan Thompson and McCartney Kessler among the New Balance players connected to the seasonal tennis range. The US Open selection combines performance apparel with footwear designed for the hardcourt season.

New Balance developed the US Open color palette in Dawn Glow, Enoki, Mint Water and Silver Moss. The colors run through apparel and footwear, giving the collection a coordinated visual direction for New York.

The apparel takes familiar tennis references and updates them through pleats, streamlined silhouettes and technical construction. New Balance uses breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics throughout the range, with engineered fibers that draw moisture away from the body during play.

For men, key US Open pieces include the Tournament NYC Top and Tournament NYC Short. New Balance supplements the on-court pieces with the Tournament NYC Hoodie and Graphic T-Shirt for practice and everyday wear. Prices for the men’s apparel range from $40 to $85.

The women’s collection includes updated Tournament NYC silhouettes designed for tennis performance. The Tournament NYC Tank, Skort and Dress use breathable, moisture-wicking materials with built-in support and pleated detailing. New Balance designed the pieces to provide comfort during play while limiting distractions on court. The wider selection includes the NYC Hoodie and NYC Graphic T-Shirt, with prices ranging from $40 to $110.

Footwear forms another major part of the US Open release. New Balance introduces the new FuelCell 996v7, a lightweight tennis shoe developed to combine durability, propulsion and stability. FuelCell foam creates a propulsive feel, while a large external TPU shank supplies support without adding unnecessary weight.

New Balance coats sections of the upper and outsole in durable rubber and adds strategic mesh zones to increase breathability and flexibility. Players can choose a multi-court sole or clay-court sole. The FuelCell 996v7 costs $135 for adults and $70 for kids.

Gauff’s signature footwear joins the seasonal offering in coordinated colors. The Coco CG2, priced at $160, and Coco Delray, priced at $110, connect with the US Open apparel palette. New Balance completes its tournament footwear selection with the Fresh Foam X CT-Rally v2 at $150 and the FuelCell 996v7 at $135.

Gauff’s custom US Open kit remains under wraps for now. New Balance plans to share the first full look when she takes the court against Sönmez on September 1.
