Vincent Cassel returns to the center of KidSuper Fall Winter 2026 as the brand releases the first drop from its Outside the Box collection alongside previously unseen photographs of the actor taken in Paris during production of the season’s short film.

KidSuper first introduced Outside the Box during Paris Fashion Week in January 2026. Colm Dillane built the presentation around an original film starring Cassel, a longtime creative reference for the designer. Dillane grew up watching the French actor’s work, making the collaboration a direct connection between one of his early cinematic influences and the current KidSuper project.
The film placed Cassel inside an unstable version of Paris where ordinary situations gradually broke apart. He wandered through the city before entering a café, where small disruptions began to challenge his sense of reality. A woman disappeared from the room, his coffee started shaking and the environment eventually vanished around him. The story left Cassel alone inside a white void as the presentation shifted between the film and the live runway.
That structure made Cassel central to the collection’s idea. Dillane approached Outside the Box through questions about simulation, repetition and how someone might act after realizing that the systems around them no longer function as expected. The film established that premise before the runway extended it into physical space.
Cassel also attended the January presentation in Paris, creating another connection between his screen role and the live event. During the show, a model appeared in clothing that echoed Cassel’s film look, while the screens and set continued to blur the division between the recorded story and the runway.
With the release of Drop 1, KidSuper now returns to that production through a new group of photographs of Cassel captured around Paris during filming. The images had remained unseen until the launch and extend the visual record of the collaboration beyond the film itself.
The Fall Winter 2026 show marked Dillane’s return to film as a central part of a KidSuper presentation. The short allowed him to place clothing inside a character-driven narrative before carrying the same ideas onto the runway. Cassel’s role gave that approach a recognizable cinematic presence and connected Dillane’s personal reference point with the collection’s questions around reality and performance.
The newly released photographs bring that relationship back into focus as KidSuper begins delivering Outside the Box. Instead of treating Cassel’s appearance as a single runway-season moment, the Drop 1 launch revisits the actor inside the streets and locations where the film took shape.
