Design Miami Paris 2026 opens its doors at L’Hôtel de Maisons, bringing together international galleries, established designers and emerging talents for its latest edition. Set within the historic Parisian mansion, the fair presents a selection of collectible design, sculptural furniture and contemporary objects that explore material, form and artistic expression.

Across the galleries and courtyard, this year’s presentations offer a closer look at the ideas shaping contemporary design, with works that invite visitors to reconsider the relationship between art, function and the spaces we inhabit. For DSCENE, Louise Daniel selects her favourite pieces from the fair, exploring the works, designers and creative ideas that caught her attention.

Apple and Design Miami’s Designers of Tomorrow makes space for emerging voices, including Isabel Rower’s Padded Chair 1860 and Parafernalia’s MonoAmbiente 1, bringing new perspectives on form, craft and human connection into this historic setting.
Our selection continues with Irene Cattaneo’s Effi Briest swing set, presented by Galerie Gastou; Emma Donnersberg’s ceramic mushroom sculptures through her eponymous gallery; Christian Pellizzari’s Heliconia chandelier at Nilufar; and Giorgio Canale’s La Plus Belle Matrice, presented by Friul Mosaic Made in Italy.

In the courtyard, Pierre Renart’s monumental moabi-wood bench Arabesque earned maison parisienne the award for Best Design at Large Presentation. Inside, Rick Owens’s Stag Stool features in Salon 94 Design’s exhibition, awarded Best Gallery Presentation, alongside works by Alberto and Diego Giacometti, Peter Schlesinger, Urs Fischer and F. Taylor Colantonio.
From a bronze garden swing to sculptural seating and botanical fantasies, these are the objects that held our attention.
