Anthony Vaccarello presented his Autumn Winter 2017/18 collection for Saint Laurent during the ongoing Paris Fashion Week. Exploring the paradoxes and tensions of a contemporary Saint Laurent femininity, the collection features sharp and structured shoulders, flight-jacket dress, laser-cut leather, as well as, shearling details, denim and leather boots. For the evening wear, Vacarello prepared matte black velvet, decorated with raw crystal embroidery.

I love Monsieur Saint Laurent’s subversive approach to clothes, his dark romanticism with a hint of perversity. I wanted this collection to be like a re-reading, a radical fantasy of this heritage. – Anthony Vaccarello
