As part of Berlin Fashion Week, the well-known premium label Marc Cain presented its Spring Summer 2026 collection titled ‘A Quiet Rebellion‘ in the architecturally impressive Pei Building. As always when the label invites, the guest list included numerous well-known names. This season, singer, songwriter, actor and presenter Ronan Keating and his wife Storm Keating, supermodels Romee Strijd (who had the honour to open and close this fashion show) and Candice Swanepoel, television presenter Frauke Ludowig and her daughter Nele Ludowig, television personality Sylive Meis, did not want to miss this show and brought glamour to the red carpet, which shone in the glow of the evening sun in the middle of the capital. Many other high-calibre editors and celebrities, such as the actresses Barbara Kurdej-Szatan and Anna-Maria Sieklucka, model Marvy Rieder, infuencers Johannes and his wife Jessica Haller, Leonie Hanne, eagerly awaited the evening.

With ‘A Quiet Rebellion’, Marc Cain presented its new Spring Summer 2026 line in the iconic Pei Building (“Pei-Bau”) on three floors flooded with golden sunlight and showcased a strong contrast to our vivid world.
“By staging the collection in the Pei Building, we once again demonstrated our deep connection to art, architecture and aesthetics – while simultaneously making a bold fashion statement,” declared Helmut Schlotterer, Founder and Chairman of the Board at Marc Cain.

The Pei Building, designed by renowed Louvre architect I.M. Pei, perfectly emphasised the mood of this striking collection.
In Berlin’s historic centre, you can find two architecturally impressive buildings: the historic Zeughaus, an impressive baroque building, and the modern Pei Building. These two buildings form an incredibly exciting architectural contrast in terms of style.
Located in the German Historical Museum in Berlin, the cultural centre of Berlin, Germany’s National History Museum stands out not only due to its impressive architecture, but also as a place for communicating, events and discussing historical eras.

Between golden hour, architectural clarity and celestial atmosphere, the traditional label presented an extraordinary fashion show that was successful on all levels. Light and shadow danced through the building as the models went down the spiral staircase with effortless grace. The golden hour light emphasised the incredibly elegant, sophisticated impression of this compelling collection.
Supermodel Romee Strijd opened this spectacular fashion show in an elegant, summery-light, white, wide-cut outfit, which the design team cleverly combined with a silver-coloured jacket. She closed the fashion show in a glamorous floor-length, bright yellow dress, matching the summery atmosphere of the day and attracting everyone’s attention. A total of 60 models presented the sophisticated summer looks across three levels, surrounded by the golden glow of the setting evening sun. As always, the label succeeded in creating a highly unique atmosphere.

The colour palette consisted of graceful powder tones, soft sky blue and various nuances of green (such as lime, kelly green and maximum green) and this choice embodied a mood of freshness, restraint and sophistication. As a contrast to this, bold colour statements (as we know it from Marc Cain’s previous lines), must not be missing as well next season. Next season, monochrome ensembles in vibrant orange, fuchsia, bold yellow and red created incredibly strong colour statements. The label has done an excellent job of creating an elegant Spring/Summer 2026 collection that also provides bright, colourful summer moments.
Another highlight of this line is the print choice: we noticed romantic florals, maritime and shell motifs, and graphic summer prints. One of our favourite looks of this range is a two-piece with a beautiful lemon print. This look, combined with the over-sized straw hat, is a real eye-catcher for the coming summer season.
Fluid fabrics lent the silhouettes a sense of floating movement and the sun-drenched building made some of the creations appear to float elegantly through the building. Statement pieces of this collection containted skirts and dresses in maxi, midi and mini length, which were rounded off by wide-leg trousers.

The choice of accessoires emphasised the individual character of each look. Hats and visor caps were shown in different variations.Another must-have for the coming season are lightweight suits in elegant colours such as white, silver, tan or lemon yellow. Animal prints were subtly visible, for example on a sophisticated long, golden dress. Sparkling sequins guarantee the most glamorous moments for next season.
With its latest line, the label introduced an outstanding collection that combines quiet maximalism with flowing silhouettes and simply sophisticated details, a meaningful response to our noisy world.
“A Quiet Rebellion” emphasises an understated elegance – a celebration of strength in sublety, of boldness whispered with grace. It’s a tribute to those who express confidence not through noise but through intention,” emphasised Marinela Oglan, Creative Director at Marc Cain.
