The point of departure is the 1945 French film Les Enfants du Paradis. From it comes a fascination with drapery, imagined as if drawn out of an attic where forgotten fabrics rest in silence. These textiles appear dusty yet precious, carrying traces of memory and fragments of stories. Through overlays, trompe-l’œil effects, pleats, and light weaves, the collection builds a space where garments exist between what is seen and what is hidden.
Silk defines the collection, animated by 18 original prints. Each print demonstrates Mascia’s talent for bringing diverse motifs into dialogue, creating a personal interpretation of color and pattern. Alongside silk, jersey delivers comfort and movement, shaping garments that feel effortless against the body. Wide skirts, airy in construction and adorned with delicate ruffles, give rhythm and femininity to the season’s silhouette.
Outerwear completes the offering with ultra-light bombers and trenches designed for cooler days. Denim introduces playfulness through trompe-l’œil effects that transform a familiar fabric into something unexpected, echoing the stage’s power to disguise and reveal. Dresses fall fluidly, alternating with jacket-and-trouser ensembles, shorts, and pajama-style shirts.
