Drake’s NOCTA continues its exploration of advanced performance wear with CODE 05: The Anomaly Cycle, a collaboration that revisits a highly specialized Nike concept through a new design framework. Originally developed inside Nike by designer Tony Spackman as a precision-focused experiment, CODE now takes on a different role under NOCTA, shifting its focus toward adaptability, modular construction, and technical problem-solving.
At the center of the collection stands the Component 5 Jacket, conceived as a 5-in-1 system built around a magnetic circular trim. This mechanism allows multiple elements to attach and detach within a single structure. The system includes a hood, a cropped jacket, a down-filled vest, a knit shrug, and a detachable neck foam pincher. The jacket uses water-repellent materials, reinforcing its role as a multi-purpose outer layer built for movement and exposure.

The outerwear offering expands further with two additional jackets that approach technical protection from different angles. The Prestigious Fold Jacket features a full GORE-TEX shell paired with a built-in vest, offering protection suited for harsher conditions. Elasticated finger loops extend functionality, reinforcing the garment’s focus on performance-driven detail. In contrast, the Prestigious Flow Jacket introduces a premium Japanese wool blend, shifting the emphasis toward texture and structure while maintaining technical intent. This jacket incorporates 3D lenticular sleeve trims that add dimensional detail without altering the core construction.
Lower-body pieces continue the collection’s system-based approach. The Prestigious Fold Pants arrive in both GORE-TEX and Japanese wool versions, mirroring the material choices seen in the jackets. These pants maintain a functional silhouette designed to work alongside the outerwear.

The Hyena Top introduces a built-in ear cuff, extending the idea of integrated elements beyond traditional garment boundaries. This design choice adds a sculptural detail that aligns with the collection’s interest in unconventional construction. The Knit Masked Neck Warmer continues this direction, reinforcing the collection’s recurring masked motif. Balancing the technical complexity, the Anomaly Cycle Tee grounds the collection with a heavyweight cotton construction. Its straightforward design offers contrast through simplicity.
CODE 05: The Anomaly Cycle reflects NOCTA’s ongoing interest in reworking performance concepts for a broader lifestyle context without stripping away technical intent. The collection launches tonight at midnight EST on NOCTA, followed by a release on SNKRS on December 18, marking the next phase of NOCTA’s evolving approach to performance-led design.
