Ralph Lauren draws inspiration from a renegade attitude for the Fall 2026 Women’s Collection. He designs for a woman who uses fashion to tell her own story by reinventing items from the past for the present day. Her style exists outside the constraints of time. This woman seeks chic pragmatism and an emotional rush from her wardrobe, requiring clothes that function and excite simultaneously.
FALL WINTER 2026.27 WOMENSWEAR
Tailoring, corsetry, and chainmail create a distinct framework featuring strong shoulders and an earthy palette with heavy metallic embroidery. Polished suiting and gutsy sportswear provide a counterpoint to garments that follow the curves of the body. Long, languid silhouettes define the majority of the looks while shorter hemlines and demonstrative belts provide variety and emphasize the waist. Pants appear in ultra-lean cuts or wide, barrel shapes with pleats, often featuring visual deception through the use of unexpected fabrics like body-contouring knitted cashmere that looks like nubby Donegal tweed. Audacious pairings further distinguish the collection, such as chunky sweaters with exploded floral embroidery worn with silk floral jacquard pants.

Outerwear takes a prominent position in the Fall 2026 line as double-breasted windowpane wool coats and sweeping, pebble-textured leather coats provide structure. Deliberately undone jackets offer a different mood, including one in leather with a surface distressed by hand and another in leopard-print shearling with a hidden crinoline layer to create a structured back bubble.
The collection utilizes over fifty custom materials, such as velvets, jacquards, and arresting scarf prints, including a short jacket that reverses from shearling pile to crackled metallic foil. An intricately wrought velvet feather-motif jacquard jacket accompanies stretch flannel trousers while a thistle-hued silk velvet dress features a hand-smocked and bugle-beaded yoke under an oversized herringbone jacket. Multiple versions of mesh resemble chainmail and sit against wool and leather to complete the textile selection.

Artisanal techniques improve the entire lineup, featuring a high-neck micro-sequined column dress with an over-print of flocked velvet and an open-back gown using velvet that underwent double dyeing in brown and dark blue to create a specific luminescence. A delicate top requires several rounds of handcraft, including sequin embroidery, painting, leather-strip applique, and glass-bead fringing to achieve its final look.

Accessories support the adventurous theme of the show as riding boots and embroidered velvet slippers ground the outfits alongside various versions of the Ralph bag and a new mini crossbody. The new Deco Lock clutch features a chain handle that sits on the hand like a bracelet to coordinate with the metallic accents found throughout the clothing.
Ralph Lauren presented this collection through an intimate runway show in New York City attended by guests including Anne Hathaway, Lana Del Rey, Ariana DeBose, Rebecca Hall, Morgan Spector, Lili Reinhart, Emilia Jones, Diana Silvers, and Doyeon Kim. Other notable attendees included Krystal Jung, Kelly Chen, Naran, Kiko Arai, Rila Fukushima, and Mae Tan who gathered to see a collection focused on a woman who pursues adventure and reinvents herself while remaining true to her identity.
