Pietrafesa frames dressing as self-composition, a daily language through which identity and presence take form. The collection reflects confidence, independence, and curiosity shaped by lived experience. Elegance emerges through habit and character, integrated into everyday life.
A long-standing fascination with exotic animals informs the collection’s visual direction. Early obsessions evolved into a sustained relationship with animal print and pattern as tools of expression. In Fall Winter 2026, these references appear through hand-worked embroideries and layered prints. The motifs feel intuitive and integrated into the garments’ surfaces.
Preparation for adventure guides the season. Pietrafesa approaches design as preparation for travel, imagining where each garment will go and what it will witness. Pietrafesa constructs surfaces through knitted wools, handloomed silks, handwoven wools, and soft tweeds finished with beaded appliqué.
