The Ritz-Carlton x Kilometre Paris Drop a Coastal Travel Capsule

Four coastal resorts inspire hand-embroidered baskets and bandanas crafted in Morocco for a limited-edition capsule.

The Ritz-Carlton x Kilometre Paris Capsule

The Ritz-Carlton partners with Kilometre Paris on a limited-edition capsule that translates four coastal resorts into handcrafted travel pieces. Drawing from The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel; The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara; The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island; and The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami, the collection channels the color and atmosphere of each destination into beach totes, bucket bags, and bandanas designed for leisure travel.

CAPSULE COLLECTIONS

The capsule arrives with a philanthropic component. A portion of proceeds will benefit Community Footprints, The Ritz-Carlton’s global social and environmental responsibility platform. Funds will support select initiatives within the local communities of the participating resorts, extending the reach of each property beyond hospitality and into community impact.

Designs interpret the mood and iconography of each destination, allowing guests to carry visual traces of their stay. The collection combines utility with pieces conceived as keepsakes, suited to poolside use or tucked inside a carry-on.

Jamie Hoffman, Director of Global Marketing and Partnerships at The Ritz-Carlton, describes the collaboration as a way to translate the spirit of the resorts through design. He emphasizes that meaningful travel connects guests to place, culture, and community. Through this partnership, the brand extends that connection into objects shaped by detail and material choice.

Kilometre Paris contributes its signature hand-embroidered storytelling to the project. The capsule introduces three silhouettes designed for travel. Handwoven basket bags range from the Undercover Basket to the sculptural Le Tube Basket. Artisans in Morocco craft these forms from natural date palm leaves and finish them with embroidery inspired by each resort. The process draws on regional techniques and established methods, aligning function with narrative detail. The collection also includes a hand-spun cotton bandana embroidered with references to coastal life.

Alexandra Senes, Founder of Kilometre Paris, notes that both brands share a focus on detail and process. She points to careful choices in color, material, and production, as well as the international collaboration behind each piece. For Kilometre, luxury derives from time, collaboration, and the skill of artisans.

All pieces in the capsule are handcrafted in Morocco by skilled textile artisans. Production relies on close relationships with artisan communities. Each bag and accessory undergoes hand sewing, embellishment, and assembly using techniques passed down through generations. The collection is available at select participating The Ritz-Carlton coastal resorts and online through The Ritz-Carlton Boutiques.
