Fear of God and Idris Elba Push “Don’t Fear Your Future”

A Protest-Language Capsule

Fear of God is turning its attention to the future, and doing it in the clearest language possible. The Los Angeles label has introduced a capsule in partnership with Don’t Stop Your Future, the youth-led campaign of the Elba Hope Foundation founded by Idris Elba. Built around the phrase “Don’t Fear Your Future,” the release extends the conviction introduced in Fear of God’s “Civil Collection,” but widens the lens, positioning the message as both personal and global.

The collection draws from the visual grammar of protest, where typography becomes a banner and clothing becomes a carrier of intent. “Support Liberation Now” lands as the capsule’s central statement, printed across Fear of God’s signature hoodies and paired with relaxed, wide-leg bottoms marked with stacked text. DSYF script and a profile emblem, a symbol of identity and self-definition, reinforce the campaign’s focus on youth agency and the right to shape what comes next.

“This collaboration with Fear of God feels deeply aligned,” says Elba. “Thoughtful, purposeful, and rooted in the same belief that drives Don’t Stop Your Future: giving young people a reason to build rather than break. It’s about hope, and seeing that message carried through in this collection means a lot.” Jerry Lorenzo adds, “This partnership with Idris and the Elba Hope Foundation is rooted in our shared values and empowerment of the next generation. Don’t Stop Your Future speaks to that responsibility by supporting youth in building their own path. Through this collaboration, we’re able to contribute to that mission in a way that is honest to the intention of Fear of God.”

Founded in Los Angeles in 2013, Fear of God is defined by meticulous attention to detail and refined fabrications, a quiet, intentional elegance that has helped Lorenzo reshape the codes of American luxury through proportion, restraint, and a distinct sense of ease. The timing of this capsule also feels pointed, arriving as the brand recently confirmed the departure of CEO Bastien Daguzan and the decision to eliminate the role rather than replace it, further emphasizing a tighter, founder-led direction.

All proceeds from fearofgod.com will benefit the Elba Hope Foundation, supporting youth, agriculture, and sustainable development. The capsule will also be available at the Fear of God shop at Harrods in London.
