Nike introduces the Nigeria x Slawn collection with apparel and footwear that carry the Nigerian artist’s hand-drawn take on the Super Eagles wings. The project connects Slawn’s raw visual language with players representing Naija on the field and fans supporting the team globally. Arriving during the 2026 FIFA World Cup period, the release gives Nigeria supporters a complete selection of performance tops, jackets, trousers, fleece pieces and a street-ready version of an early Nike football boot.
SPORTSWEAR
The Dri-FIT Academy Pro Short-Sleeve Soccer Top leads the performance offering. Slawn covers the slim-fitting design with his interpretation of the Super Eagles wings, while sweat-wicking fabric supports use on the pitch. Co-branded patches appear on the front and identify the collaboration. Nike offers the top in men’s, women’s and kids’ versions, giving supporters several sizing options within the same design.
Two jackets extend the graphic treatment into outerwear. The Dri-FIT Academy Anthem Jacket uses a loose fit and lightweight woven construction. Slawn’s wing artwork covers the design, while co-branded front patches connect the piece to Nigeria and the artist. The Men’s Lightweight Jacket uses an oversized track shape with distinct seam lines. Large rear graphics join co-branded front patches, creating a direct Naija reference from both sides.
The matching Men’s Lightweight Pants continue the trackwear section. Nike combines defined design lines with Slawn’s Super Eagles wing graphics and co-branded patches. The collection also includes a fleece hoodie and fleece pants. Slawn applies an all-over wing pattern to both pieces. The hoodie adds large rear graphics and front patches, while the trousers carry graphics and collaboration branding throughout the design.
A men’s T-shirt offers the simplest apparel entry in the collection. Slawn’s wing interpretation drives the graphic treatment, while co-branded patches and embroidery complete the piece. Each apparel item uses the Super Eagles symbol as the main visual link, giving the collection a consistent identity through different fits, fabrics and functions.
The Cryoshot Striker 1976 x Nigeria x Slawn completes the release. For the wider Cryoshot rollout, Slawn recreated the earliest Nike boot in canvas and covered it with his signature illustrations. Minimal overlays leave space for the artwork and give the historic football shape a radical new treatment.
Nike developed the Cryoshot concept from classic football boots retrieved from its archive and adapted them for daily street wear. Clear outsoles encase the original-style studs, allowing wearers to use a version of a football cleat away from the pitch. On the Striker 1976 edition, Slawn’s drawings connect that archival form with Nigeria’s current football identity.
The Nigeria x Slawn collection launches through SNKRS and select Nike partner retailers beginning June 16.
