Mugler introduces the second instalment of The Wardrobe of Identities, a project shaped by Creative Director Miguel Castro Freitas and his focus on clothing as a force for transformation. For Pre-Fall 2026, the house builds a visual narrative around a woman who changes through dress, gesture and presence. Rafael Pavarotti photographs the story, Robbie Spencer styles the collection, and Saskia de Brauw carries the sequence with a controlled intensity that suits Mugler’s sharp codes.
PRE-FALL 2026
The campaign takes place within ordinary settings, where familiar spaces gain a heightened emotional charge. The story follows a woman through a day that feels suspended between reality and feeling. Across the sequence, Mugler uses silhouette to show how clothing shapes posture, mood and self perception.

Miguel Castro Freitas frames the project through the daily changes people experience. His approach considers clothing as something that affects how people see us and how we occupy ourselves. He looks at the small shifts that happen through the day, when a gesture, a cut or a line changes how someone stands, moves or feels. The Wardrobe of Identities follows that idea through familiar rooms and intimate situations, where everyday moments carry a sense of alteration.

The Pre-Fall 2026 Wardrobe Collection centers on strong silhouettes and accessories that extend the direction Castro Freitas has developed at Mugler. Sculpted tailoring, defined shoulders, fluid draping and precise construction shape the collection’s language. The garments create a woman who moves through her day with control, awareness and quiet intensity.

Accessories play a key role in this second chapter, with the Aurora and Lua bags appearing within the visual story. Their forms continue the house’s attitude through shape, proportion and presence. The Wardrobe of Identities studies multiplicity and self-expression without turning identity into a fixed idea. The Mugler Pre-Fall 2026 Wardrobe Collection launches in June 2026 online and in selected boutiques worldwide.
