RIMOWA expands beyond travel with the launch of the Dartboard Case in Silver, a limited specialty piece centered on professional darts equipment and the German company’s aluminum construction. The release combines a wall-mounted game cabinet with the visual codes of RIMOWA’s Classic collection and arrives with a campaign starring Walton Goggins.
AD CAMPAIGNS
RIMOWA produced the case in Cologne and developed it with Winmau, the professional darts equipment company that supplies the Professional Darts Corporation. The collaboration places a Winmau Blade X dartboard inside a double-door aluminum cabinet, marking the first time RIMOWA has used this construction format.
Grooved aluminum covers the exterior and connects the piece to the company’s luggage design. Polished custom latch locks secure the doors, while plane-engraved rivets hold the frames in place. RIMOWA gives every visible component a matching finish and adds a black leather handle from the Classic collection for hand carrying.
The wall-mounted format keeps the profile clean when closed. When players open the two doors, black microfibre frames the dartboard and gives the interior a dark, controlled finish. A custom RIMOWA and Winmau design updates the traditional board palette with light grey tones that complement the silver exterior.

Each door holds one professional dart set with three darts per side. The darts feature black RIMOWA-branded shafts and red or green flights carrying the company monogram in a two-tone design. A leather pouch protects the equipment during transport and includes space for spare parts. This setup allows owners to use the piece at home or carry it to games with friends.
The Winmau Blade X board brings the performance component to the project. RIMOWA positions the product as a functional collector’s item that places technical darts equipment inside an aluminum display case.

Grégoire Dyer directs the accompanying campaign, which tells a short story inside RIMOWA’s Cologne factory. Walton Goggins plays a security guard working a Sunday shift at the company headquarters while following a football match involving his favorite team.
As tension builds during the game, the guard organizes the archive and walks through the factory. He discovers an aluminum case containing a dartboard and starts throwing darts to distract himself. The activity soon becomes connected to the match. He decides that a bullseye will secure a win for his team, turning each throw into a private negotiation between control and belief. RIMOWA will release the Dartboard Case in Silver on July 30, 2026.
