Harry Nuriev, founder of Crosby Studios, has designed three NikeSKIMS spaces in Tokyo and Shanghai, including a retail pop-up, a dedicated café, and a new shopping destination in China. The projects bring the Nike and SKIMS collaboration into physical environments through sculptural displays, metallic surfaces, and custom interiors.
INTERIOR DESIGN
In Tokyo’s Jingumae district, Crosby Studios developed a retail pop-up presenting the NikeSKIMS Fall Winter 2026 collection. The space features a black exterior above a transparent glass frontage, while the interior introduces warm lighting, chrome clothing rails, and curved metallic seating. Amber-lit shelving displays sculptural figures in different body shapes, while wall-mounted torso forms present the collection’s apparel.

Nearby, the NikeSKIMS Café extends the project into hospitality. Located at the StandBy venue, the café features a chocolate-brown exterior with prominent branding and large windows. Its menu includes Japanese tea-based beverages and traditional wagashi sweets, connecting the concept to local food culture.

In Shanghai, Crosby Studios designed NikeSKIMS’ first physical retail destination in mainland China at HKRI Taikoo Hui. The pop-up opened on September 29 following a preview hosted by Kim Kardashian. The interior features custom merchandise displays, fitting rooms, and lounge areas, accommodating the NikeSKIMS Fall Edit 01 collection of apparel, footwear, and accessories.

The projects continue Crosby Studios’ collaboration with NikeSKIMS following its earlier Paris pop-up. Across the Tokyo and Shanghai locations, Nuriev explores how architecture, material, and display design can shape the experience of a fashion retail environment. The Tokyo retail pop-up runs through November 3, 2026, while the Shanghai location will remain open through February 2027.
