adidas Originals introduces adiSignature, its first collection developed with Willy Chavarria as Creative Advisor. The new line revisits the brand’s familiar sportswear staples through updated silhouettes, premium materials, and carefully considered proportions. Drawing from the design codes of adidas Originals, the collection places particular attention on the Firebird and SST tracksuits while introducing a wider selection of everyday essentials.
SPORTSWEAR
adiSignature takes its name from the idea of revisiting the brand’s signature designs for a new generation. Chavarria approaches familiar garments with an emphasis on individuality, giving wearers greater freedom to interpret each piece through their personal style. Hoodies, sweatpants, T-shirts, and track pants form the foundation of a wardrobe that prioritizes generous fits, substantial fabrics, and long-term wear.

“adiSignature is a framework that adidas and I developed together that will evolve over years,” explains Chavarria. His involvement establishes a creative direction that adidas intends to develop across future editions, beginning with a detailed examination of the garments that have defined the brand’s sportswear identity.
The collection introduces heavyweight 420g brushed-back fleece, giving the garments a substantial structure and a distinct feel. adidas and Chavarria reconsider the construction of every element, paying attention to stitching, ribbing, waistband heights, and zipper pulls. One-piece hood constructions create a unified shape, while dropped shoulders introduce additional volume across the upper body. Roomier sweatpants extend this approach through wider proportions that allow the fabric to fall naturally.
The Three Stripes receive particular attention throughout the collection, appearing alongside adidas and Trefoil branding in configurations that reference the brand’s established visual language. These recognizable details connect the new silhouettes to earlier adidas Originals designs while allowing Chavarria to explore changes in scale, placement, and fit.

For the inaugural release, adiSignature draws inspiration from the graphic color blocking of the 1980s. Strong color divisions define hoodies, full-zip jackets, crewneck sweatshirts, T-shirts, tank tops, and sweatpants. The collection also revisits the Firebird and SST tracksuits, updating their familiar shapes with contemporary proportions and the same attention to material construction.
The color palette extends from vibrant shades to monochromatic options, giving the collection a range of styling possibilities. A premium NY block pack accompanies the main offering, taking inspiration from an archival adidas jogging suit from the 1980s.
To introduce the collection, adidas Originals presents a campaign photographed and directed by Brianna Capozzi, with styling by Georgia Pendlebury. The campaign features a diverse cast in candid, unscripted moments, exploring personal experiences through an intimate film.

Throughout the film, participants discuss their memories, relationships, and identities, using color as a starting point for their conversations. The creative direction connects color with happiness and unity, reflecting the expressive possibilities that inform the collection. Capozzi captures these exchanges through a personal approach that places individual experiences alongside the clothing.
adidas Originals adiSignature launches October 23, with availability through adidas website, adidas retail stores, and select retail partners. The debut establishes the foundation for an ongoing project between adidas and Chavarria, centered on the continued development of the brand’s signature sportswear designs.
