Beth Ditto, the lead singer for The Gossip, is on the pages of the new edition of POP magazine in an unique fashion layout entitled “Size Zero” photographed by Steven Klein and edited by Katie Grand. Beth gets the glam treatment for the editorial in couture designs by Yves Saint Laurent and Prada along with Giles Deacon, Hussein Chalayan and Proenza Schouler.
You got to love Beth! Besides being über talented, she was selected by NME magazine last year as the coolest person in rock and they placed her at number one in the publication’s annual “Cool List.” The magazine cited Beth’s “non-conformity” as the reason for their choice — she’s a lesbian, an outspoken advocate of gay rights, weighs around 210 lbs and is in a relationship with a transsexual who was born female but identifies as a man.
