Ad Campaign: Etro
Collection: Fall Winter 2008.09
Models: Edita Vilkeviciute and Martin Cannavo
Photography by Max Cardelli
Website: www.etro.com

In February, for Millan Fall Winter 2008.09, Etros show venue was maybe even the most unique stage of the season, with a bundle of greenery, a garden full of vegetables going through middle of the stage, and yes, even making models walking on dirt. Therefor, I am certain that the same green theme was in mind of the Etro designer, and art directors when they got to the ad campaign for the Fall Winter collection, which i posted above. once again fashion finds inspiration from art

these photos’ surroundings are re-presentations of naif-primitif Henri Rousseau’s paintings

an excellent blog by the way

    thanks 🙂

I am really not sure if ETRO gave credit to Rousseau for the inspiration, it does follow the theme of the seasons collection, and the general style of ETRO ad campaigns…
