Named after designer Coco Chanel and a cousin named Iman, 17 year old Chanel Iman seemed predestined for a career in fashion from her name alone, born in Atlanta, Georgia to parents of Korean and Afro-American descent, Chanel knew exactly what profession she wanted to pursue from a young age. In 2007 Vogue magazine named Iman as part of the next wave of top models. Chanel graces the cover of i-D’s may issue shot by photographer Kayt Jones.
