Bright colours and technical fabrics define a chic yet casual contemporary aesthetic for the new Lanvin Winter 2012 high top trainers. A first version with laces and rubberised leather sole reflects a trecking spirit. It is available in a three-colour patchwork of different technical materials, pleated and grained calf with an elephant finish, dyed in a range of brick, cognac, white and dark grey. A more luxurious version features detailing in python-effect embossed leather, with green or burgundy shades underlined with grey. A second design with shin pads takes its inspiration from the worlds of boxing and motorbike racing. Its architectural volumes are cut from a selection of contrasted fabrics including textured canvas and python-effect leather, available in navy, rust or taupe. A sport-chic aesthetic with hi-tech details is used to reinterpret one of the masculine wardrobe's absolute classics, ready to walk the urban tarmac. – from Lanvin
