TOM REBL presented his Fall Winter 2015.16 menswear collection inspired by the modern day superhero, one who can navigate reality as well as virtual reality.
“The parallel path between reality and fiction intertwines and clashes in the “double identity” game. In this sense, the character of Bruce Wayne enters the scene: the perfect man who makes room for Batman, his dark alter ego fighting injustice. On this journey, the superhero’s cape is the linking thread between reality and cyberspace. The new TOM REBL collection features high- tech but also natural materials. Iridescent fabrics and a metallic sheen contrast with natural cotton, leather and wool. Volumes are futuristic: they do not hug the body, but accentuate existing proportions to create new shapes that make a man a superhero.” – Press Release
