Maharishi took London Collections: Men to present its Fall Winter 2016 menswear collection. Part I of the collection is inspired by the garments of various religious orders around the world and the Part II continues an exploration of subcultures within civil society such as military platoons, gangs, crews and tribes.
FALL WINTER 2016 MENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
Spiritual devotion is a mainstay that is referenced continuously in maharishi collections. It represents an ongoing thematic duality; east meets west, and nature meets technology. A number of silhouettes this season have taken exaggerated cues from the robes of Buddhist monks and the blankets of Indian Sadhus. – Maharishi
