Katie Eary took London Collections: Men to present her Spring Summer 2017 Collection, inspired by Irvine Welsh’s Trainspotting. The designer concentrated on her skill with prints, featuring electric blue fishes and stars giving the appearance of netting.
SPRING SUMMER 2017 MENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
It’s a fun collection about the dark things that preoccupy me, viewed trough a prism of memory and touched by a feeling of luxury. All the subjects I’m inspired by are a reminder of reality, even if they originate in classic fiction as the kind of inspirational characters we normally dare not admit relating to. – Katy Eary
