Manchester by the Sea star Michelle Williams lands the cover story of American Elle Magazine‘s January 2017 edition captured by fashion photographer Terry Tsiolis. In charge of styling was Samira Nasr, who selected looks from Michael Kors Collection, Marc Jacobs, Khaite, Louis Vuitton, and Ralph Lauren Collection among other. Beauty is work of hair stylist Kevin Ryan, makeup artist Angela Levin, and manicurist Gina Edwards.
“Everybody talks about the silences in movies and how interesting they are but it’s a lot easier than connecting beat to beat, line to line, inside of a scene in real time in front of a thousand people. But when I went to make [Manchester by the Sea], I felt a little bit more freedom, more access inside of myself.” – Williams on the inspiration for her role in Manchester by the Sea.
