You never know what you can expect next from Rei Kawakubo, but one thing is certain – she never fails to impress. For her Comme des Garçons Homme Plus Spring Summer 2018 show presented during the recently wrapped up Paris Fashion Week, she literally turned the stage into the dance floor. Models run and danced on a raised stage in the rhythm of disco music and colored lights, dressed in glittery jackets and basketball shorts, tops pinned with baby doll body parts, animal prints, flower patterns and colored sequins.
LATEST SPRING SUMMER 2018 MENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
The designer collaborated with the artist Mona Luison on a few of the designs – jackets embellished with doll parts and some of her prints applied to the T-shirts , as well as with Nike on an Air Max 180 made especially for Comme des Garçons.
