Fashion designer John Vizzone presented Cifonelli‘s Spring Summer 2018 menswear collection, inspired by La Dolce Vita and the sweet life of 1950s Rome.
“The DNA of Cifonelli tailoring is here in the heart of Rome, in the urbane and glamorously seductive carnivalesque atmosphere of Fellini’s films and the sublimely cool sardonic wit of Marcello Mastroianni. The urbane look that gave rise to contemporary style for the chic cosmopolitan man.
But the vision interpreted by John Vizzone for today’s Cifonelli man is a bit more subtle, seen in paler colors of sand and mocha, dove grey, and of course black and white. In the afternoon the mélange of tailored perfection is paired with the casualness of beautifully crafted sandals and soft cotton shirts with holiday collars.“
