Discover the GUCCI x UNSKILLED WORKER Collab With Alessandro Michele

Gucci will be launching collaboration with Unskilled Worker, British artist a.k.a Helen Downie. Discovering her through Instagram and inviting her to participate at Gucci’s No Longer / Not Yet show in October 2015 in Shanghai’s Minsheng Art Museum, Creative director Alessandro Michele and Unskilled Worker have since created a stronger bond, which is now to be expressed in this collaboration between Gucci and the talented artist.

The ready to wear collection of 40 exclusive pieces will consist of shoes bags silks and accessories featuring the artwork by Unskilled Worker in her signature expressive style. The images are a combination of portraits and floral designs and have a witty, playful spirit that perfectly complements the contemporary, eclectic Romanticism of the House.

The collaboration between Alessandro Michele and Unskilled Worker will see a range of pieces offered for sale online only from 11th October. These include printed GG Marmont shoulder bags, Princetown mules and Ace sneakers, tote bags with bamboo handles, printed dresses, blouses and skirts in silk, patched knitted tops, cardigans, denim skirts and jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, a bomber jacket as well as foulards and shawls. The items will be delivered in dedicated, bespoke packaging that will also be decorated with Unskilled Worker’s designs. It will be the first time an exclusive online collection will launch simultaneously in all  markets (Europe, United States, Canada, UAE, China, Japan, Australia and South Korea).
