Acne Studios presents the spring summer 2018 collection at Paris Fashion Week. This season’s collection has a ‘70s groove/thrift store/acid vibe. The collection emphasizes separates; satin shorts, sheer tops and dresses, jackets, high waist trousers. Pastel colors filled the runway. Fabrics are treated and embellished, but seem simple. Looks that appear like plastic are actually jersey that has been treated with starch.
I am always interested in what sits outside of fashion. It’s an attitude that is at the heart of Acne Studios, and this season I wanted to explore this outsider way of being.
