Discover Miahatami‘s Fall Winter 2018.19 Revolutionary Road collection, that explores Iranian history and White Revolution program of modernization and reforms launched in 1963 by Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, presented on January 26th, during Altaroma Fashion Week.

“Key features in the collection are the military world and the Iranian society, which come to life thanks to the combination of garments traditionally worn by farmers and jackets taken from men’s wardrobe and reinterpreted to achieve a truly unique style. The many jewelappliqués draw inspiration from traditional farmers’ jewels from the White Revolution and are applied on the garments as if they were military medals.
The fabrics chosen by the designer range from silk to super-light Oxford, from cotton to cloth and woollen diagonal strips. Garments in stiff military cloth, reminding of the shapes and fabrics of military coats, coexist with gentler, harmonious and feminine shapes and garments in soft fabrics enriched by precious prints.“
