My secret garden. Far from the maddening crowd, a perfect place to let fantasies bloom and play masculine sports. In a panier, headband and a codpiece.
In the secret garden, classic TB ideas are blown up, following the curvaceous contours of the panier. The XVIII century clothing contraption undergoes a process of fantastic reinvention too. Not only it shapes the hips, but also the shoulders and the sleeves. The boned cages sit underneath as an understructure, or become visible as embellishment. A very TB repertoire of coats, blazers, trousers, dresses and skirts, shaped in curves: shrunken jackets, elongated jackets with shapely hips, blown up coats, swimsuit-like shorts. Raglan sleeves. – from Thom Browne
