Riccardo Tisci has invited the internationally acclaimed artist Anne Imhof, to collaborate on the upcoming Burberry Spring Summer 2021 show experience. Bringing together fashion and art, the collaboration examines tensions at the intersections of togetherness and tradition; the natural and the man-made; the real and the unreal.
Set in the British outdoors, the Burberry Spring Summer 2021 collection, designed by Riccardo Tisci, will come to life as a live physical presentation that is open for all to experience digitally at 1pm BST on 17 September 2020.
Anne Imhof is a contemporary German artist known for her endurance performances, paintings, and revolutionary installation work. She has created several solo exhibitions, and represented Germany at the 57th Venice Biennale transforming the pavilion with her performance piece, ‘Faust’, for which she was awarded the Golden Lion for Best National Participation.
