The Paris based maison ROKH by fashion designer Rok Hwang presented it’s latest collection with a cinematic runway showcase. The Spring Summer 2021 collection explores the feminine silhouette and the process of layering a garment. The designer and his team sent fifty-two new looks down the runway. In his conversation with the Paris Fashion Week’s Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode the designer shared:
The starting point of the collection was once again a specific emotion that I remember from my youth. I find that sharing my personal experiences gives such a special meaning and feeling to my clothes. This time, I wanted to share the emotion of walking at nighttime. It’s the feeling of tension and adventure that you experience going outside at night when you are young. So the collection is called “Night Wanderer.” I wanted to capture this mood and sensation in each and every moment.
The collection mixes the contemporary with an alluring sentiment of grunge, evoking the empowering nature of the ROKH girl.
