Luxury house MAX MARA presented Renaissance Flowers Spring Summer 2021 Collection, that was inspired by the Renaissance masters and their interpretations of an Italian garden, and the way they used botanical symbolism to capture the full range of human virtues and emotions.
Photographer Andrea Gandini captured the lookbook featuring Serbian model Mijo Mihaljcic. In charge of beauty was makeup artist Roman Gasser. Casting direction by Simone Bart Rocchietti.
“These new Renaissance engenders new silhouettes and details; dresses are short and elegant with different floral prints. The gathered necklines are harmonized by the pictorial colours of the sixteenth-century paintings. Trousers are straight-cut jogging shorts or slim-cut with floral designs. T-shirts and sweatshirts feature bouquets printed on a silk panel or on cotton patchwork. The new Renaissance is here, with its exquisite floral prints.” – from Max Mara
