Designers Lucie and Luke Meier presented JIL SANDER Spring Summer 2022 Men’s Collection, that explores freedom, individuality, and imagination, on June 27th, during the last day of the recently finished Paris Fashion Week. The collection was inspired by multicultural cities that helped people understand and appreciate diversity, try new things, and combine different things in new and unexpected ways. It balances opposites and fuses work with play, day with night. The collection brings modern looks that are both functional and luxurious.
SPRING SUMMER 2022 MENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
“Lines, movement, and touch are equalized. Every look is unique. Japanese wool jackets, shirt-jackets and coats are straight and voluminous. Overdyed cotton and linen flight suits, with removable sleeves, and comfortable utility trousers are worn under one-and-a-half breasted tailored overcoats.Strong colours, large pockets, contrasting copper zippers, a cheetah print on a brushed wool pullover, scarves in fleecy pure silk, and jewels – silver necklaces, brooches, ear cuffs, and earrings – give all looks – and us – extra personality and an edge.” – From Jil Sander

Fashion photographer Chris Rhodes captured the lookbook featuring models Dylan Roques, Henry Kitcher, Malick Bodian, Moustapha Sy, Takfarines Bengana, and Woosang Kim. In charge of art direction was Heiko Keinath, with set design from Prevot Anne Sophie, and casting direction by Julia Lange. Beauty is work of hair stylist Damien Boissinot, makeup artist Laura Dominique, and manicurist Rosimar Viana.
