Designer Walter Chiapponi presented Tod’s Spring Summer 2022 Under The Italian Sun Menswear Collection, inspired by Peter Beard’s adventurous images and ??the urban safari, on Saturday, June 19th, during the recently finished Milan Fashion Week. The presentation film stars actors Saul Nanni and Meledeen Yacoubi, musician Lorenzo Sutto, singer Theo Isambourg, and model Yonghong, captured at Cantina Petra, Suvereto. The collection explores nonchalance and contemporary craftsmanship, with focus on leisure. It features soft volumes in Mediterranean and sandy colours.

“The wardrobe is made up of classic staples, reinterpreted in different materials, details and proportions. The canvas Jack Biker has leather gommino pads on the elbows, the windbreaker is a combination of different materials, the hoodie is made of suede. The iconic T Jacket has contrasting patch pockets in leather, while the trench coats are made of light nylon in bright hues. The idea of ??the uniform recurs, matching top and trousers, whether they are knitted or lightweight safari jacket with chambray trousers and a canvas shirt with bermuda shorts.
