Los Angeles based brand 424 presented their Spring Summer 2022 Menswear Collection, that fuses California’s ease with Italian craftsmanship, on June 20th, during the recently finished Milan Fashion Week. The collection was inspired by Milton William Cooper’s Behold the Pale Horse conspiracy novel. It mixes elegance with relaxed tailoring and suiting.
If you want to make movies you got LA, if you want to make fashion you go to Milan. Milan is the fashion capital I feel most aligned to. I always felt connected to Italy. Is not jut about making clothes, but about the people who makes the clothes, and the way the make clothes. The appreciation of fabrics, the attention to the details, the family run businesses, the collective and passionate commitment to manufacturing quality. To be honest, I never wanted to do anything such as formal presentation in a calendar. I think I was trying to find my voice, I didn’t have enough of the story, now I have a clear idea about what I want to show and what I want to share. The time feels right. – Guillermo Andrade
