Paris Fashion Week Ends With a Special Show In Homage to Alber Elbaz

The 45 of his fellow designers created homages to the designs of the late Alber Elbaz.

Alber’s mantra was always Love Brings Love. In honor to its late founder Alber Elbaz, AZ Factory has closed this year’s Paris Fashion Week with a special fashion show “Love Brings Love”, in the heart of Paris at the Carreau du Temple. A celebratory event in honor of his extraordinary life and work, the show pays tribute to Alber’s creative vision and his love for the fashion family. The AZ Factory design team was joined by 45 fashion houses and their designers in presenting their personal homages to Alber.

AZ Factory enlisted the help of Alber’s closest collaborators, including designers Anthony Vaccarello, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Daniel Lee, Giambattista Valli, Rick Owens, Vivienne Westwood, Daniel Roseberry, Pieter Muller, Dries Van Noten, Matthew Williams, Iris Van Herpen, Jean Paul Gaultier, Olivier Rousteing, Charaf Tajer, Rosie Assoulin, Véronique Nichanian, Glenn Martens, Bruno, Sialelli, Iris Van Herpen, Antoine Arnault, Natalia Vodianova, François-Henri Pinault, Jerome Lambert, Demi Moore, Scout LaRue, Farida Khelfa, Leila Bekhti, Tina Kunakey, Louise Bourgoin, Amira Casar, Geraldine Pailhas, Marta Ortega, Carlos Torretta, Emmanuelle Alt, Alexandra Golovanoff, Sarah Andelman, Sofia Sanchez de Betak, Elie Top and more.

The nature of fashion is family.
– Alber Elbaz

The show opened with Alber’s own signature design from AZ Factory – the My Body little black dress that brings cutting edge knitwear technology to couture. Next came one look from each participating house, their own nod to Alber’s legacy, ranging from ready-to-wear to couture. Finally, the AZ Factory design studio presented their own homage to their beloved founder, with 25 looks.

Tonight’s celebration for our dear Alber was a magical moment – talents celebrating talent is a remarkable tribute to the man we all loved so much. We are very humbled by the extraordinary support from all those who participated in the making of the show, and to all those who were able to join us for this historic night.
