Luxury house LOUIS VUITTON unveiled an elegant and ultra-feminine new shoe LV Archlight Slingback, that was inspired by the brand’s LV Archlight sneaker. Designer Nicolas Ghesquière reinterprets LV Archlight sneaker, known for its modern design and oversized sole, in a classic slingback form. The chic, urban, and unique model features a small rubber LV logo at the top of the shoe, while Louis Vuitton is written on the slingback’s strap. Italian influencer Chiara Ferragni stars in the campaign lensed by fashion photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch. In charge of styling was Marie-Amélie Sauvé, with creative direction from Charles Levaia and Kevin Tekinel.
“This pointed-toe slingback design, made of technical satin, mesh and leather, features a low 5.5 cm heel. Like a wave rising over the side of the shoe, the ultrasupple rubber sole unmistakably adopts the codes of the LV Archlight. The sneaker’s bold colours are also recognisable in the new LV Archlight slingback, with five variations of satin ranging from white to bright pink, through blue, beige and green. A timeless sixth version is available in a combination of black satin and Monogram canvas.” – from Louis Vuitton
