Luxury fashion house Casablanca presented their Spring Summer 2023 Menswear Collection titled Futuro Optimisto, on June 25th, during Paris Fashion Week. The collection features a special delicate lattice beadwork and hand embroidery, thread, every bead and fringe is dyed to match the colours and gradient of the season. Silk that was hand-crafted in Lake Como interprets watercolour scenes by Oaxacan artisans. Knitwear is presented troughout tracksuits, dresses and swimwear while crochet can be seen through ready-to-wear, bags and hats. With this season brand wanted to subvert the notion of the classic bride into a new vision but still aligned with the classic couture craftsmanship of bridalwear. The gown is embroidered with delicate lattice-work transforming the boundaries of tradition. Veil is carefully crafted by renowned London-based milliner Neil Stewart, utilising delicate lace sourced from Switzerland, a dedication to the finery of 20th-century brides.
