Fashion brand MARGARET HOWELL presented the Spring Summer 2023 Collection with a presentation held on September 18th during the ongoing London Fashion Week. For this season, the brand brings a collection of separates that combine to create a casual style and choice for the individual. The color palette of the season mixes spring colours like mineral, stone, blackberry, plaster, and burnt sienna with monochromatic like white, black, navy, and khaki. Refined tailoring is combined and contrasted with sportwear to soften and create casual outfits.
SPRING SUMMER 2023 COLLECTIONS
Shirts are longer in length and paired with cropped jackets and boxy knitwear, emphasising layers. Men’s trousers are wide cut and full length, worn low and slouchy. Women’s trousers are relaxed and cropped in length with cinch detailing. The MHL. bomber jacket is boxy and oversized, referenced from the Margaret Howell archive. Soft, casual shirting comes in graphic stripe, subtle check patterns and bold colourways. Accessories are minimal for comfort and ease, highlighting the function of the clothes and how they can be worn alone. Ties are tucked in and styled with sporty parka coats.
