Since 2002, CHANEL Métiers d’art show has been presented in different locations. For the 2022.23 season, Creative Director Virginie Viard takes the presentation to the artistic capital of Senegal, Dakar.
Celebrating the codes of the house, as well as the Senegal’s rich culture, the presentation goes beyond the classical runway show, with a dance by the École des Sables and Dimitri Chamblas, performances by Obree Daman and DBN Gogo, collaboration with the Montfermeil and Dakar Kourtrajmé schools who documented the collection, talks and more.
