The second season of the universally popular series The White Lotus ended unexpectedly, with the expected dose of tension and doubt. And as we got closer to the end, day by day, or rather episode by episode, trying to figure out who the killer was, there were still many open questions that were not answered even in the seventh episode. And that’s what makes the White Lotus series exciting and different than most we’ve seen. The first season took place in Hawaii, the second in Sicily. Both locations are depicted as a true paradise on Earth, with beautiful shots and landscapes. In an interview surrounding the end of the second season, series creator Mike White mentioned that the third season could take place in Asia and could possibly explore the satirical look at death, Eastern religion and spirituality. Given that the second season is over, DSCENE team decided to look back on the season two and the bond the cast made by filming it, which looked like a lot of fun according to the pictures the members shared on their Instagrams.
