Luxury house BURBERRY unveiled its new festive campaign starring South Korean actress and the brand’s ambassador Jun Ji-hyun, also known as Gianna Jun. The campaign features the iconic outerwear silhouettes reinterpreted with modern proportions, and it highlights reimagined trench coat, reworked soft-shouldered Waterloo fit, and oversized trench cut from signature bespoke gabardine and patterned with the Equestrian Knight Design in a tonal jacquard weave. The bags are redefined with seasonal details and tactile takes on the brand’s codes. For the season, Burberry explores a feminine approach to functional footwear.

“A sumptuous coat in curly shearling dyed in a rich dark truffle brown, is cut to a relaxed fit and styled with exaggerated lapels. Layered underneath is a diamond- quilted jacket and coordinating skirt – both cut from dark brown waxed cotton and shaped to a slim fit – an ode to the British countryside. In ready-to-wear, a wool cashmere cardigan is intarsia knitted with farmyard animals motifs and loosely layered over a figure-hugging ribbed jersey dress with a peplum hem.” – from Burberry
