“What is French style? The question itself an enigma, kindling endless fascination. An irresolute fashion residing above an oxymoronic foundation of audacious tradition. An evolutive fashion, like the palimpsest of multiple currents from all over, in which couture conventions embrace an astonishing mix of cultures to become what is known as the French exception. This style of an ineffable magnetism that still intrigues the world; that too is paradoxical: sophistication with a dilettante’s air. French allure is a trompe l’oeil. The French touch never fails to captivate.” – from Louis Vuitton

The brand presented its new collection at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. The set was designed by the leading French artist Philippe Parreno, who contrasted the splendor of the Musée d’Orsay with the geometric lines of the set, and played with light and sound to create an immersive sensory experience.
