Fashion brand Y-3 unveiled its Spring Summer 2023 Chapter 2 Collection after revealing the Chapter 1 in January. The collection, titled Technical Effortlessness, reimagines its signature silhouettes with fresh, yet functional design details. As a result, the SS23 collection as a whole takes Y-3 in a new direction, redefining what its style can be. Yamamoto’s utilitarian workwear garments, which adorn pieces such as contemporary suiting, cargo pants, and outerwear, serve as inspiration for the new chapter. Another signature of the collection is the relaxed yet structured silhouettes seen in subverted tracksuits, wide pants, and almost floor-length coats. As is customary, black is a dominant color. Cuts of midnight blue and coral, on the other hand, pervade the garments. A selection of weather-appropriate footwear and hats is also included in the collection.
