Fashion brand Mordecai presented its debut Spring Summer 24 collection, that includes 20 looks, and boldly pushes the boundaries of form and function while remaining approachable. The company, founded in Milan by Creative Director Ludovico Bruno, aspires to revitalize men’s fashion by breaking free from conventional rules and seasonal restraints. Bruno uses a silhouette-centric approach to mix technical sporting aspects into fabrics such as washed canvas, fine wool, and matte nylon, resulting in lightweight and versatile garments that are characterized by both functionality and refined craftsmanship. A significant portion of the collection is produced in Italy in collaboration with Hostage.

Men’s wardrobe staples like hooded sweatshirts and buttoned jackets coexist with military-inspired cargo pants and martial arts-inspired kimonos. The pieces undergo transformations through adjustable drawstrings, reversible features, pleats, and down filling, culminating in unprecedented designs that retain a touch of familiarity while venturing into uncharted territory. The designs reflect a new paradigm of contemporary menswear, informed by human body, comfort, and technique rather than transient trends, content, or branding.
Mordecai presents a comprehensive and versatile wardrobe comprised of three distinct ranges: essentials, skewed pieces, and conceptual designs. The effortless layering of lightweight outerwear in parachute-grade cotton and nylon, merino, mohair, and cashmere knitwear, waxed poplin shirting and jackets, washed canvas cargos, completely fashioned jersey, and socks creates dynamic and limitless ensembles.
Ludovico Bruno, the visionary designer who previously served as the head of design at Moncler Genius and is now a creative consultant for Ambush by Yoon Ahn, launched Mordecai to cater to a new type of fashion-conscious customers.. These sophisticated folks seek timeless and long-lasting fashion options that perfectly integrate parts of sportswear, workwear, streetwear, and formal attire. The brand’s inaugural collection is a daring and thrilling move toward offering a fresh viewpoint in the ever-changing fashion industry.
